Meet the Staff
Nancy Klaus, Owner
FREEDOM Ranch, LLC is owned and operated by Nancy Klaus. Nancy has been a figurehead in the horse and show industry for over 30 years. Bringing her deep love for horses and compassion for the people that own them together. Nancy has established a safe and welcoming facility for riders and owners from all walks of life and styles of riding. She enjoys the Ranch with her daughter Lexie and son Riley.​​​​​​​​​​​
Mikaela Schriber, Barn Manager

Mikaela has an Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Barn Management and Equine Reproduction from the University of Missouri - Columbia. She has managed a number of facilities from small 10 horse stables, to rescue barns, to large lesson facilities. She has experience is all phases of the horse industry including teaching riding lessons, buying and selling horses, training and showing and her favorite breeding and raising foals.
She lives and works with her "family" here at freedom including Dexter (dog), Squirrel (Cat), Chipmunk (Cat), Ian (Pony), and Taco (Horse)
"Security Team"

We have 3 dogs that you can see roaming around the property after their owners.
Scarlet and Rusty are two Australian Shepherds owned by Trainer Betsy Olander and will be the first ones to greet you upon entering the barn. When they are not on their "security shift" they can be found in the arena or outside with Betsy.
Dexter is a Black and White Bulldog Mix that can usually be found following his owner Mikaela around. Most of the time you can find Mikaela by following Dexter! He loves pets and scratches but be warned once you start you wont be able to stop!

Several Round Pens including an indoor Round Pen in the Winter

Daily Turn Outs (horses hand-walked out to paddocks)

Heated/Air Conditioned Lounge with Kitchen, Restrooms and Tackrooms.
